The Harmsco HUR 40-HP COAT Filter Housing is a single-cartridge Hurricane housing designed for process water and demanding filtration applications. Its carbon-steel vessel features a fusion-bonded 3M™ Scotchkote™ epoxy coating to help resist corrosion. Hurricane upflow action separates dense solids ahead of cartridge filtration, helping reduce the solids load on filter media.
Built for versatile filtration setups, this Harmsco filter housing accepts compatible 40-series cartridges, allowing you to select media and micron ratings to suit your process. The 2-inch NPT inlet and outlet connections support system integration, while the 1-inch NPT drain provides a connection for draining the vessel.
