The Harmsco Stainless Steel Pool Filter HUR 170 is a high-performance filter that is designed to provide superior filtration for swimming pools. The flow of pressurized water from the pump can be easily connected to the filter through the tangential inlet nipple, ensuring a minimum loss of head. The flow stream then accelerates rotationally, creating a cyclone separation that acts as a prefilter. The water then rises upward into the inner chamber, where the rotational forces collide with the pleated cartridge media, distributing debris evenly over 100% of the media and eliminating blind spots.
The result of this innovative design is a filter cartridge that needs to be cleaned one third as often as conventional filters of the same size. The Supertuffilters can filter particles as small as 3-5 microns, providing crystal-clear water for your pool.
